It seems so. I took a short break because I thought I was on the brink of getting sick – and I slept very good and consistently.
Caffeine is also a variable. First two days of that break, I did not do any caffeine. 3rd and 4th day I had normal intake.
I mellowed out watching a show (Stick) I was not heavily emotionally invested in – which serves this purpose.
Yesterday, Friday, 12.09 I hit the gym again with a back day – and after that ate a big meal – had a hard time falling asleep and was awake for abt 10 min at like 5:30 AM having a hard time getting back to sleeping.
Probably multiple variables at play here. And also not enough data to support the claim.
Optimize this.
I like sleeping good.
Solutions:
Hitting the gym at about 17:00.
Getting a meal after that.
Light work sess after that.
Then mellowing out. Bed with no stimulus.
Update on this on 5.10.2025:
Actually pretty logical: gym hits adrenaline -> stimulant. Takes time for the body to regulate again.
My way now: drinking caffeine before training: gives me max energy for training and some after to still get some kind of low work done. Then bed.
