This trip was crazy.

Unfortunately I did not take many pictures and no go pro.

Basically we started in OÖ – drove the bikes down to Attersee.

Swam there. Domi started taking swimming bit more seriously, so he swam way out there.

Sneaking into the Freibad there by swimming around the border and then jumping from the 5M tower. Nothing special.

We drove on – short stop in Nußdorf at the Tennis courts, but decided not to.

I had the big Nike Bag on as a backpack with the 2 Tennis rackets in it.

Drove onwards to Wolfgangsee – stopped in St. Gilgen and played Tennis there.

I remember being pissed in that session, because I played badly and we decided to kinda make a competition out of it (gay game).

But I think I beat Domi in the gay game (first one to lose 7 points is one step closer to being gay – when reached 2 games in series lost = gay). Pattern: I lost normal sets, but then beat him in the final gay game.

I kept a google note documenting the Gay Score.

We jumped into the lake – then drove on and bought some stuff at Spar to grill.

Looked around for a place to sleep, shot some curves up (some awesome ones).

But didn’t really find something. I was getting dark.

We settled on a location that was okay, but not optimal.

We „borrowed“ some wood there and made a stone fireplace – and lit a fire.

Worked surprisingly well – we grilled on sticks. Ate good.

But also all clothes smelling of smoke.

We then built the tent up.

I slept horribly. Caused by fear of the farmer knocking us down and some other things.

I’m pretty sure an „Eber“ (Hog) was outside the tent not far away and screamed in the middle of the night – haha.

Slept bad, but got up – and waited for Domi to get up. Took the picture with the fog:

We then drove on.

Also, I fucked up my big toe – inexplicable to me how, I cut it somehow in the lake – so I hinked kinda.

It went away as we went on.

We then went to Falkensteinwand – Wolfgangsee.

Domi threw out the idea – „Should we jump the 24m?“

First I thought – „Fuck“ – and internally thought of chickening out, but also I kind of wanted to do it / prove it.

Also the 18m we jumped before did not do anything anymore for me.

So we hiked up to the 24m range. We looked down.

I actually did NOT see a big difference just by looking down from 18m to the 27m.

Domi also was kind of not sure if to do it – and this time I think he had more of „Let’s not do it“ than „Let’s do it“.

We stood for about 3-5min – but I knew in my mind – either we jump down and its fucking epic or we hold that regret inside.

So I said fuck it.

Climbed down.

And just jumped.

And fucking hell – you have a bunch of airtime here.

First it’s normal, but you exponentially get faster.

And the last quarter – you get so fucking fast.

I think we calcd it – about 85km/h when you hit the water at falltime of 2.2sec (just calcd again with claude).

I remember yelling something dumb after I surfaced again – it was „BIST DU GESTÖRT“ about 2-3 times.

Then Domi jumped after me.

„Eigschlogn wie a bombn“

Feet hurt on impact, but otherwise we’re both okay.

Adrenaline is huge though. 18m is way less compared to that.

We swam back to shore.

I think some spectators saw it.

I was so fucking awake after that – before it I was sleepy since bad sleep in tent.

This was huge.

We jumped a bit more on the lower, but mostly relaxed after that rush.

Tennis in Nußdorf and the rain incident:

We drove again to Nußdorf to the Badeplatz to play another round of Tennis.

Was pretty sick – then swam in the Attersee.

I checked the weather the day before and noon they said „might rain“.

Domi was driving up again to OÖ – myself was headed to Kärtnen Afritz am See to the boys.

My options were:

Leave the Bike somewhere here – teake the train.

Drive to Bad Gastein, leave the bike – take the train. (the one I opted for)

Drive the Bike down to Afritz.

Said Bye to Domi (at abt 16:00), drove off to Bad Goisern, crossing the SBG border.

I saw the clouds already mad.

Prayed that it won’t hit me.

Drove on, first slight rain hit me.

„This is fine“ I thought – driving on.

It got worse – more rain. I stopped at a supermarket parking lot to check the weather and the remaining distance. Still 2hrs to BG at least.

Drove on.

Suddenly it started fucking POURING.

Just pouring buckets.

Road got swamped.

I drove in that a bit – but thought „No fucking way“.

And call it fate – call it „a way out / a solution sent from above“ – I’m driving into a small village formed around the road.

I see the bus stop on the opposite side – I pull into it.

It was dry.

My first thought is to ask the neighbors if they can house my bike and I grab it in like a week again.

But then I look at the bus chart.

Next and ONLY bus back to Golling-Abentau arrives in 3 minutes.

I park the bike in the corner as best as possible.

I check my phone for location and train ride.

I’m thinking „this is my chance – take the bus to Golling – take the train to Villach.“

Only thing is: I need to leave my bike here for abt a week.

I record this video:

And the bus came. A bit delayed, but fuck was I glad.

Dripping wet – the bike clothing.

Changed pants in the bus.

Just looked out the window.

Glad.

Arrived in Golling Abtenau – no rain there.

Went to get a Kebap.

Ate that.

Pulled out the laptop (I remember vividly) – texted the boys I’m coming.

Overall made it.

Adrian picked me up in Villach.

Had Kinder Pinguins at a gas station (I remember these things vividly – nice trait).

Went to the cabin at Afritz and I slept so fucking good.

That’s this adventure.

Hope you enjoy reading that.
